History of Pro Com/timeline
Since 1924 Pro Com Services of Illinois, Inc., (Pro Com) headquartered in Springfield, Illinois, has employed the same philosophy – commitment to our clients and their customers. Owner operated, Pro Com demonstrates this commitment through long-term client partnerships, a full range of services, ethical standards, compliance, staff training, and technologically advanced methods.
Long-term client partnerships
Our results speak for themselves. Our successful consumer searches and recovery rates grow our existing partnerships and help secure new clients. We look for ways to enhance our services as clients’ businesses grow and evolve. Our list of loyal and satisfied clients includes major health systems, municipalities, leading lending institutions, utilities, educational systems, small-to-medium private organizations, and local family-owned businesses.
Ethical standards compliance
We maintain an impeccable record under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Working within the policies of our individual client companies, as well as federal and state laws governing the credit and collections industry, is our utmost priority and ensures our clients’ trust in us.
Continual staff training
We continually learn about the industry, the laws, and better customer service practices. We understand that laws change, so we actively participate in continuing education for our employees.
In addition, staff members participate in online, phone, and in person training provided by ACA International the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals, MDHBA, InsideArm and the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. [CM1]

We offer a wide range of client services, because we know this makes our clients’ jobs easier. From first and third party debt collection/recovery work and pre-collection work to extended business office services, and payment monitoring, we take care of our clients’ business needs.
